A Short History of College.

A “Crest” or “Logo” is the emblem that tells the aims and objectives of the institution. The flame of the lamp at the middle of our crest symbolizes enlightenment and illumination of life that leads the students to the lights of the knowledge out of the darkness of ignorance. The harp to the left of the crest is the symbol of art and architecture that develops the knowledge of the students in the field of music and dance. To the right, the mark of writing materials (Inkpot & Parakalam) is meant to develop the literary knowledge of the students and to restore our old cultural heritage. To the bottom of the crest, there lies an open book. It means Education for knowledge is open to one and all and one can achieve success in life through learning.
